Envision Networks and The Cowboy Cook himself, Jeff Tracy (JT), are grillin' and chillin' with "Barbecue Nation." Based at flagship station News/Talk KPAM-AM (AM 860 The Answer)/Portland, OR, the program is the only syndicated radio show covering cooking styles and techniques along with the outdoor living lifestyle. JT brings a great passion and love for barbecuing to his listeners during his weekly 2-hour show and daily updates. It includes regular segments with Meathead of AmazingRibs.com, outdoor cooking news from the Kansas City BBQ Society and National Barbecue News.
"People are now cooking outdoors all year long... It's no longer just a summer activity," said JT. "Barbecue Nation is about bringing people together and building relationships that last. It's easy cooking for everyone, not just those living an outdoor lifestyle."
JT got his nickname as "The Cowboy Cook" from his upbringing which included time competing in the horse world. He's also earned his reputation as an entertainer on both radio and TV often appearing on ABC affiliates across the West Coast and was featured in a reality series on Discovery Channel.
