Saga Classis Hits KIOA-FM/Des Moines taps veteran market personality Pam Dixon to join the morning show and host Maxwell Schaeffer beginning August 4. Dixon was first heard on KRNT-AM and Q-102 before beginning a 10-year run on KLYF which ended in 1996. Since then, Dixon has been heard as the first female Iowa Cubs stadium announcer. (07-23-08)



Country WAYZ-FM/Hagerstown, PA, night personality Joel Kabik moves up to afternoons (3-7pm) swapping air shifts with Dave "Whip" Carmichael, who takes nights (7-midnight). (07-23-08)



Rhythmic CHR WAJZ-FM (Jamz 96.3)/Albany, NY, APD/MD/morning co-host JD "The Governor" Redman transfers to the Program Director slot at co-owned Pamal CHR WZRT-FM (Z97.1)/Rutland, VT, effective August 11. (07-23-08)



Former WSNE-FM (B101)/Providence air personality Jed Barton joins crosstown WWLI-FM (Lite Rock 105) where rumor has it, PD Mike Rovin is grooming Barton to become the next afternoon host replacing Charlie Jefferds. (07-23-08)



Beasley/Fayetteville, NC, appointments Abbey M. Ghee and Cortez A. Simpson as Account Executives for WUKS-FM (Kiss 107.7) and WZFX-FM (Foxy 99), and Jennifer Schmidt as Account Executive for WKML-FM. (07-23-08)

After 4 years of service, Urban WRRX-FM (Magic 106.1) Pensacola, FL, Program Director and afternoon personality "Big Daddy" Terry Styles is out. He joined the Cumulus outlet when it flipped to Urban from Rock in November, 2004. Previously, Styles programmed WLOV-FM (Love 97)/Chattanooga. Reach him at 423-432-8367. (07-22-08)



Classic Rock KDBN-FM (The Bone)/Dallas morning hosts Cindy Scull and Robert Miguel are out after a year in wakeups. (07-22-08)



Rock WRXP-FM/New York taps Matthew Ianni as producer for morning host Matt Pinfield, effective July 28. Ianni comes to 101.9 RXP, most recently, from the Lou Dobbs radio show, where he served as Technical Director and Audio Producer. Previously, he was a producer at Air America. (07-22-08)



Jeff Ramsey joins AC WVEZ-FM (Lite 106.9)/Louisville for mornings with Kathi Lincoln. Ramsey last handled wakeups at co-owned Oldies WRKA-FM, which flipped to Country last week. (07-22-08)



Robin Rockwell exits the promotions department at Alternative KITS-FM (Live 105)/San Francisco after ten years to become Marketing & Promotions Director for KBWB-TV/San Francisco. (07-22-08)



Country WTVY-FM/Dothan, AL, morning hosts Amie Pollard and Ken Carlile exit the Country outlet, as do MD/middayer "Big" Mike Casey and night jock Elizabeth Parrish. Pollard and Parrish join crosstown rival Classic Country WDBT-FM for mornings and nights, respectively. (07-22-08)



Classic Rock WCSX-FM/Detroit APD/MD Steve Richards exits after five years and is reportedly heading to Clear Channel/Savannah, GA, as Operations Manager. (07-22-08)



CHR KEWB-FM (Power 94)/Redding, CA, names Chuck Wright as its new Program Director. He replaces Rico Garcia, who is now with co-owned KCCL-FM (K-Hits 92.1)/Sacramento. Wright joins KEWB from KQQB-FM (Live 104.5)/Spokane. (07-22-08)



Classic Hits WHTT-FM/Buffalo afternoon personality Val Townsend resigns to accept a teaching position at a local college. PD Joe Siragusa will add afternoons on August 18. (07-22-08)



CHR WKFR-FM/Kalamazoo, MI, taps J Blaze for nights in early August. Previously, he was with WSNX-FM/Grand Rapids as APD/nights. (07-22-08)



WIHT-FM (Hot 99.5)/Washington, DC, Promotions Director Jessica Ritch exits the CHR to be closer to her family in Buffalo. (07-22-08)



Sports WSPZ-AM (690 The Sports Animal)/Birmingham afternoon hosts Jim Dunaway and Ryan Brown head to co-owned Talk WAPI-AM for afternoons (2-6pm) beginning July 28. (07-22-08)



"The Steve Harvey Morning Show" and "The Keith Sweat Hotel" will join the lineup at KAPW-FM/Cotton Plant, AR, effective August 4. (07-22-08)



Sports WSCR-AM (The Score) Chicago middayers Mike Mulligan and Brian Hanley, aka Mully & Hanley, move up to mornings. The duo had been filling wakeups since longtime morning host Mike North's departure last month. Additionally, Mully & Hanley ink a multi-year deal. Lawrence Holmes will fill Mully & Hanley's previous 10am-noon slot until a replacement is named. (07-21-08)



Rhythmic CHR WWKX-FM (Hot 106)/Providence adds syndicated Big Boy's Neighborhood to mornings from 6-10am replacing Kerry Collins, who heads back to nights at CHR WPRO-FM. Big Boy, based out of Los Angeles, will kick-off his run on Hot 106 live from its studios in Providence on July 23. (07-21-08)



Oz Medina joins AAA KPRI-FM/San Diego for mornings replacing Madison, who moves to middays. Robert will continue in afternoons, while Meg Banta heads to nights. Medina's previous stops include 91X/San Diego and KBCO-FM/Denver. (07-21-08)



Active Rock WKLQ-FM/Grand Rapids launch Grey & Kluck in mornings replacing the syndicated Opie & Anthony. Michael Grey is the station's PD, while Warren Kluck joins from Rock WRKR-FM/Kalamazoo, MI. (07-21-08)
