HD Radio Holiday Ads Set for November 2 Launch

The HD Radio Alliance along with committed radio companies broadcasting in HD Radio, are entering the holiday season early with new commercials that urge listeners to choose an HD Radio receiver as a "gift that keeps on giving." The 30-second spots, which begin November 2, for this campaign explain, "If you're not giving an HD Radio receiver, they're not hearing HD Radio broadcasts. It's time to upgrade."

Retailers and iBiquity Digital are gearing up for in-store point-of-sale materials and other advertising to maximize the HD Radio campaign. Consumers will get information on the radio, online and in stores to help them upgrade to HD Radio Technology.

Consumers can visit www.HDRadio.com to check out HD Radio deals for savings programs on pricing and shipping, and locate the HD Radio Buyers Guide containing information on all HD Radio devices. Consumers will also find the local market-specific HD Radio Station Guides at the site.

The HD Radio Alliance campaign will run commercials on over 600 radio stations in the top 100 markets. Listen to the commercials at HDRadioAlliance.com. (10-29-09)
