Principle Closes on KLOK/San Jose for $7.65 Million


Principle Broadcasting Network has closed on its acquisition of 50kw KLOK-AM (1170)/San Jose from Univision Radio for $7.65 million. Buffalo, NY-based Principle specializes in multi-ethnic based media and has operations in New York, Boston and Dallas. KLOK's "Radio Cadena" format moved to Univision's KBRG-FM's HD2 multicast channel last summer.

Kalil and Co. was the exclusive broker for this transaction.
