Border Media Business Trust Sells Texas Outlets


Border Media Business Trust, headed by W. Lawrence Patrick, trustee, has agreed to sell three Texas outlets and a LMA partner to R Communications, headed by Roberto Gonzalez, for $2.7 million. Included in the deal are KBDR-FM (100.5/42k)/Mirando City and KNEX-FM (106.1/6kw) and KLNT-AM (1490/1kw)/Laredo. Plus assumption of a Local Marketing Agreement with Active Rock KQUR-FM (94.9).

Greg Guy and Jason James of Patrick Communications brokered the transaction.
