Arbitron, Edison Research Release AC P1 Study

An extension of the Arbitron/Edison "Infinite Dial Study," released earlier this month, specific to AC format P1 listeners was revealed Tuesday. The data is an extension of the January/February 2013 survey conducted by both Arbitron and Edison. It that found among AC format P1s about three in ten listen to online radio weekly. Other findings include:
- One in three uses YouTube weekly They are much more likely to wake up in the morning to a cell phone Half own a smartphone They are much more likely to own a tablet More than six in ten have a profile on a social network They are less likely to say it is important to learn about and keep up to date with new music Eight percent have signed up to receive email from their P1 station
