Steel City Closes Kansas City Buy for $105.5 Million

Steel City Media, headed by Michael & Greg Frischling, has closed on its previously announced acquisition of four outlets in Kansas City from Wilks Broadcasting, headed by Jeff Wilks, for $105.5 million. Included in the deal were 100kw Country KFKF-FM (94.1), 100kw CHR KMXV-FM (Mix 93.3), 100kw Country KBEQ-FM (Q104) and 100kw KCKC-FM (KC102.1), all serving Kansas City with full market coverage.
