Alpha Media to Purchase Digity Radio Stations

Alpha Media has agreed to acquire 116 stations in 26 markets from Digity LLC, including outlets in West Palm Beach, San Jose, Canton OH, Saginaw MI, Myrtle Beach SC, Lincoln NE, North Dallas TX and Greenville NC along with its host of suburban markets around Chicago and clusters in South Dakota, Minnesota and Missouri. When all pending deals are completed and added to Alpha's 135 outlets, it will bring the total number of stations to 251.
Alpha Media Chairman Larry Wilson said, "We are extremely pleased to be acquiring from exceptional operators and management who truly understand radio. Dean and his team have done a tremendous job with these stations. They will be a great addition to our live and local vision across the country."

George Reed of Media Services Group is the broker for Alpha Media, while Piper Jaffray served as advisor to Alpha Media and RBC Capital Markets LLC served as financial advisor to Digity Media.
