Triton Digital Releases Top 20 Ranker for July

Triton Digital has released its monthly Top 20 Ranker for July. The Ranker is a listing of the top-performing digital audio stations and networks measured by the Webcast Metrics audience measurement platform, accredited by the Media Rating Council. Total listening for clients measured in June showed 4 million Average Active Sessions weekdays from 6am-8pm, and 3.46 million AAS during Monday-Sunday 6am-midnight.
Key findings of the July 2015 Ranker include:
- July 2015 showed positive growth in both dayparts when compared to July 2014. AAS within the Domestic U.S. grew by 38.1 percent (M-F 6A-8P) and 41.0 percent (M-Su 6a-Mid). The Urban Adult Contemporary format showed the largest listening gains with a 4.7 percent increase in AAS, followed by Country, News/Talk and Urban Contemporary. (M-F 6a-8a, July 2015 vs. June 2015) 39 percent of listening took place on an iOS device, followed by Android at 31 percent, Flash Player at 9 percent, and Google Chrome at 7 percent. (M-F 6a-8a) Mobile listening represented 76.1 percent of total listening in July 2015, compared to 23.9 percent on desktop. Mobile listening has grown 10 percent over the past eleven months.
