KSE to Acquire Three Denver Outlets from Wilks

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has agreed to acquire three FM radio outlets in Denver from Wilks Broadcasting. Terms were not disclosed and FCC approval is required. Included in the deal are 100kW Hot AC KIMN-FM (100.3), 100kW Classic Hits KXKL-FM (Kool 105) and 57kW Country KWOF-FM (92.5 The Wolf). KSE, a Denver based company, is the owner of the Pepsi Center, the Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets.
In a statement, KSE Media Ventures President/CEO Matt Hutchings said, "When these stations became available and were offered to us, we thought they would be a great addition to our media holdings. These stations have excellent local management and staff, which we look forward to welcoming to our family."
