Four Congress Members Added as LRFA Co-sponsors

Two Representatives and two Senators have joined as co-sponsors of a bipartisan resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA) now has 129 cosponsors in the House and 12 in the Senate.
Adding their support for the Local Radio Freedom Act in the House are Representatives Michael Capuano (MA-7) and Tim Walberg (MI-7). Senators Deb Fischer (R-NE) and Tom Udall (D-NM) are the new co-spsonsors of the Senate resolution.
Representatives Michael Conaway (R-TX) and Gene Green (D-TX) are the principal cosponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act (H. Con. Res. 13) in the House of Representatives. Senators John Barrasso (R-WY) and Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) introduced a companion resolution in the Senate (S. Con. Res. 6).
