Alpha/West Palm Beach Acquires WFTL and WMEN

Alpha Media/West Palm Beach announces has agreed to acquire News/Talk WFTL-AM (850) and Sports WMEN-AM (640). The duo join current stations AC WRMF-FM (97.9), AC WEAT-FM (Sunny 107.9), Country WIRK-FM (103.1), Urban AC WMBX-FM (X102.3) and Urban W242CI-FM (Beatz 96.3). Terms were not immediately disclosed.
Alpha Media Chairman Larry Wilson commented, "We are delighted to add WFTL and WMEN to our dynamic group of stations in South Florida. Elizabeth Hamma and her outstanding team are the best in the business and this acquisition represents our confidence in their ability to continue to dominate the Palm Beach market."
