Pamplin Sells KPAM and KKOV/Portland OR to Intelli

Pamplin Communications Corp. has agreed to sell 15kW News/Talk KPAM-AM (860) and 50kW Adult Standards KKOV-AM (1550), serving Portland, OR, to Intelli LLC. Terms were not immediately disclosed. In a release, Pamplin Media Group said it made the decision to sell its radio stations in order to fully concentrate on its stable of community newspapers, digital media and video. PMG owns the Portland Tribune as well as 24 community newspapers that serve the Portland metro area and central Oregon.
Intelli LLC, based in San Jose, CA, also owns stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta and San Jose markets.
