KXRK/Salt Lake City Names Jon Smith to Middays

KXRK-FM (X96) Salt Lake City names Jon Smith to middays on the Simmons Media Alternative outlet. He replaces Marci Wiser on June 3. Most recently, he served as Program Director and morning host for Classic Rock KZHK-FM (95.9 The Hawk) in nearby St. George, UT. He began his radio career in Salt Lake City at crosstown Alternative KENZ-FM (101.9 The End) in 1998. He's also handled MD/afternoons for KJQN-FM/Salt Lake City.
X96 Brand Manager Todd Nuke 'em said, "We are thrilled to have Jon on our team. He understands our unique position in the market, and his personality is a perfect match for X96."
