Alghini New Program Director for WWCT-FM/Peoria

Advanced Media Partners Peoria, IL, ups Marc Alghini to Program Director of hertiage Rock WWCT-FM, effective July 8. Previously, Alghini was an air personality, morning producer and social media contributor at AAA WXRT-FM/Chicago since 2005. Prior to that, he was an Artist Manager for several years. Alghini also spent time as National Director of Promotion and Marketing for EMI/Astralwerks after radio gigs in Albany and Boston.

In addition to his programming duties, Alghini will host mornings on WWCT. Current Program Director, Harry Wareing will remain with the station as a consultant.

"WWCT-FM has been an integral part of Central Illinois since the late seventies. We are very excited to have Marc join us and begin the next chapter of this great radio station," said GM Michael Rea.
