Matt Stone to Wake Up San Diego on XTRA (91X)

Local Media's Alternative XTRA-FM (91X) San Diego names Matt Stone as its new morning host from 6-10am. He joined 91X in November, 2014, as Assistant Program Director and evening air talent. Stone previously served as PD/afternoon host at crosstown AAA KPRI-FM. Before that, Stone was OM/PD for Resonate Hawaii in Kona-Hilo.
"Please no one pinch me," said Stone. "Working at 91X is a career pinnacle, and I am humbled to be given the opportunity to rise and shine every morning with San Diego and 91X listeners."
91X Program Director Halloran added, "Matt knows what our listeners want, and has already worked tirelessly to deliver dynamic radio to the audience. I am excited to see what this new chapter brings to 91X."
Prior to working in Hawaii, Stone was PD/morning personality at KRUZ-FM/Santa Barbara as well as PD Hot AC KBBY-FM/Ventura. The industry vet has also served as APD/Music Director at Modern AC KSCF-FM (Sophie@103.7)/San Diego.
