KQSM/Fayetteville Adds Paul Finebaum to PM Drive
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, June 29, 2015 |
Cumulus Sports KQSM-FM (92.1 The Ticket)/Fayetteville, AR, announces that Southeastern Conference broadcaster Paul Finebaum's weekday radio show, "The Paul Finebaum Show" will air on 92.1 The Ticket beginning Monday, June 29 from 2-6pm. The show brings to Northwest Arkansas college sports fans Finebaum's knowledge and opinions on the SEC, and interaction with callers.
Finebaum began his career in Southeastern Conference sports as an columnist and investigative reporter for the Birmingham Post-Herald and later the Mobile Press-Register. In 2001, he launched the Paul Finebaum Radio Network and became a voice on college football in the South. In 2013, Finebaum was hired by ESPN for its SEC Network, and "The Paul Finebaum Show" was born.
92.1 The Ticket Program Director Josh Bertaccini said, "Paul Finebaum is one of the premier voices of the SEC. His show is a natural fit for a college sports hotbed like Northwest Arkansas -- and with Razorback athletics on an upward track, our listeners can expect to hear some charged coverage of the Hogs moving forward. This is a tremendous addition to our daily lineup."
Finebaum added, "I am delighted to be joining the lineup on Monday. As our show has expanded, we have heard from a large number of Arkansas fans. I think the fans in Arkansas are some of the best sports fans in the country and among the most passionate. I also think Brett Bielema has the program about to explode."
