Jeana Shepard Named Middays at KMLE/Phoenix

Jeana Shepard is appointed the new midday host on Country KMLE-FM (New KMLE @ 107.9) in Phoenix, heard weekdays from 10am-2pm beginning Monday, February 8. Shepard replaces Chris Matthews following his move to mornings. Her most recent experience includes working as a weekend host on KMLE and as the KMLE morning show producer from April, 2014, to March, 2015.
"Jeana's on-air sound coupled with her work ethic and passion for radio won her this opportunity in a field of talented choices," said CBS Radio Phoenix VP/Programming Tim Richards.
"I'm really excited and very thankful to be here," added Shepard. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work for such an iconic station, and with the amazing on-air KMLE team. I am ready to give this everything I have."
