Carey Named New Afternoon Host on PowerTalk

KALZ-FM (PowerTalk 96.7) and KRZR-AM (AM 1400) Fresno names Trevor Carey as the new afternoon host, beginning Tuesday, February 16 at 3pm PT. In addition to the local Fresno program, Carey will host an expanded fourth hour that will also air on iHeartMedia's PowerTalk stations in Modesto and Stockton from 6-7pm PT. Carey had been previously hosting a one-hour evening program on PowerTalk since December, 2015.

"I'm really looking forward to lengthening the show to four hours, allowing our Fresno listeners an outlet to discuss everything from what's happening in town to national concerns and politics," said Carey.

"The response from our listeners after hearing Trevor Carey for just one hour a day has been tremendous," added PowerTalk Program Director Jay Bohannon. "Trevor is a passionate personality with roots here in the Central Valley which lend him great understanding of our issues, concerns and perspectives. With his magical ability to communicate and entertain, Fresno gains a powerful ally in Trevor Carey."
