Cumulus has announced a new weekday line-up for KCMO FM 103.7 and AM 710 in Kansas City including the return of veteran talk radio personality Tom Becka who will now handle the midday slot (10am - Noon). Rob Carson's popular "Carson in the Morning" kicks off the day from 6AM-10AM while Mike Ferguson moves to the 12PM Noon-1PM slot, followed by Dave Ramsey Live from 1PM-4PM and Michael Savage from 4PM-6PM. "I'm thrilled to be coming back to Kansas City radio," said Becka. "There is a great energy in town with lots to talk about. I can't wait!"
Becka has built a reputation over the last 20 years on-air as one of the top radio talk show hosts in the nation. This marks a return to Kansas City radio for Becka, who was previously on-air on Kansas City's KMBZ. Most recently, he hosted shows on Omaha talk radio stations KOIL and KFAB.
Prior to his career as a talk show host, he spent five years on the road as a standup comic working with such comedic greats as Jerry Seinfeld, Lewis Black, Drew Carey, and Sam Kinison. He is also author of an Amazon bestselling book, "There's No Business Without the Show." "KCMO Talk Radio takes an exciting step forward today," said Donna Baker, Midwest Regional Vice-President and Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Kansas City. "Welcoming Becka back to KC, Mike Ferguson continuing local community conversations over the lunch hour, and Dave Ramsey returning to three hours in the afternoon are powerful additions to our talented line-up."
