Ron Parker Debuts in Afternoons on WLS-FM/Chicago

Cumulus names veteran air personality Ron Parker as afternoon host of Classic Hits WLS-FM in Chicago. He debuted Tuesday at 3pm. Previously, Parker was on-air at co-owned WNSH-FM (NASH FM 94.7) in New York City and hosted two different dayparts on WCBS-FM there. He also was on-air for various channels on SiriusXM.
WLS-FM PD Brian Thomas said, "Ron is one of the premier talents of the Classic Hits format and has always achieved ratings success."
Parker added, "This is a great opportunity and I really want to thank Mike McVay and Market Manager Peter Bowen and I look forward to working with Brian Thomas again and who didn't grow up listening to the legendary WLS... "
Parker has previously held on-air and programming posts in markets including San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix and Tallahassee.
