KFMB San Diego Fills Midday Slot with Robin Roth
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, July 20, 2017 |
KFMB-FM San Diego fills its vacant midday slot with Robin Roth, formerly the evening talent at the Variety Rock outlet. Roth was named Assistant Program Director back in May and had been doing the night show. Roth, a 25-year radio vet, began her career at XHRM-FM and worked there for two years. She then moved on to Alternative XTRA-FM (91X) for 18 years, followed by Active Rock KIOZ-FM (Rock 105.3) for three years, then back to 91X for six years, four of those as Music Director.
Program Director Mike V. Vasquez said, "Robin Roth is a radio legend in San Diego and having her follow the best morning show on the planet (The DSC) is a huge win for us all."
Roth stated, "I'm so excited to do what I love in middays and following The DSC is a dream come true. Taking the baton from them every day is going to be an honor. Plus, now I get to enjoy the San Diego scene at night again."
