WFNZ/Charlotte Extends Contract with Frank Garcia

Entercom Charlotte has signed a new multiyear partnership with Frank Garcia, host of "The Garcia and Bailey Show." The show airs on WFNZ, 102.5 FM and 610 AM on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

"Frank Garcia brings over 10 years of professional broadcast experience to WFNZ," said Matt Hanlon, Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Charlotte. "He remains a valuable resource from his professional playing days and his overall knowledge of sports. We are thrilled he's committed to WFNZ and Entercom for the future."

"I'm excited to continue my long lasting relationship with WFNZ and Entercom," said Garcia. "I really appreciate the loyalty, support and commitment I have received over the years and I look forward to continue working with this team that dominates sports talk in the midday here in Charlotte."

Garcia has been broadcasting his midday show on WFNZ since 2007. Prior to that, he was a professional football player who started playing college ball for the Washington Huskies and was drafted into the NFL in 1995. He played the majority of his career for the Carolina Panthers followed by stints with the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams.
