WDRQ/Detroit Ups Josh ''Bru'' Brubaker to Local Anchor

Josh "Bru" Brubaker is promoted to Local Anchor for "Ty, Kelly and Chuck" on Country WDRQ-FM (NASH FM 93.1) Detroit. In his new role, Brubaker will cover traffic, weather, local contesting and content. Brubaker joined WDRQ in 2017 as a weekend/swing talent and was elevated to production assistant shortly thereafter. Brubaker previously worked for co-owned Cumulus Media in Toledo, and at stations in Monroe, MI and Bad Axe, MI.
Cumulus Media Detroit Director of FM Programming Robby Bridges said, "Bru is one of the most talented young radio guys I've heard and we are pumped to have him join Ty, Kelly and Chuck on the Detroit edition of the show every morning on 'DRQ."
Brubaker added, "I cannot even believe I get to be on a show in morning drive in Detroit and work with this crew! Thanks to Robby and OM Mike Wheeler for the opportunity."
