KRRL-FM (REAL 92.3) Los Angeles has announced that "The Cruz Show," anchored by one of L.A.'s most popular hip hop air personalities J Cruz, will join its afternoon program lineup Mondays through Saturdays from 2-7pm, beginning April 18. Cruz joins the iHeartMedia Urban outlet from crosstown KPWR where he served as the lead morning host on "The Cruz Show." Cruz will be joined by executive producer Jeff Garcia, DJ Lechero and DJ Lezlee.

"iHeartMedia is all about attracting the very best on-air talent and I'm excited to add J Cruz to the growing list of super talents in our thriving Los Angeles market," said iHeartMedia's National Programming Group Executive VP Urban/Hip Hop Programming Strategy Doc Wynter and Program Director for REAL 92.3. "Big Boy in the mornings and J Cruz in the afternoons -- I get chills just saying it."

"I couldn't be more excited and grateful to join such a great group of legendary radio artists here at iHeartMedia's REAL 92.3," added Cruz. "Hosting LA's first afternoon hip-hop ‘morning show' with my incredible team and merging with radio's biggest family is a game changer. A special thanks to iHeartMedia for providing me with a fresh new platform to connect with the Los Angeles urban community."
