Entercom Announces Sr. Corporate Management Moves


Entercom elevates Executive VP/CFO Steve Fisher to CFO and Executive VP/Operations. Concurrently, Deborah Kane and Weezie Kramer are both promoted from Regional VP to Regional President. Kane will continue to oversee stations in Austin, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle. Likewise, Kramer will continue overseeing outlets in Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Madison, Milwaukee, Norfolk, Providence and Sacramento.

Entercom President/CEO David J. Field stated, "We are incredibly fortunate to have such gifted leaders at the helm of our company. These promotions reflect the integral roles Steve, Deborah and Weezie play at Entercom. I could not ask for three more talented, committed and effective colleagues. They are simply the best at what they do."

Prior to joining Entercom in 1998, Fisher was Managing Director of a private equity firm in Philadelphia. Previously, he spent 18 years with Westinghouse Broadcasting (now CBS Radio), where he held a number of operational and financial management positions, including VP/GM of KFWB-AM/Los Angeles and Executive VP for the company's Broadcast/Media group.

Kane joined Entercom in San Francisco as a Sales Manager in 1989. Prior to becoming a Regional VP in 1999, she helped develop Entercom's sales training and business development initiatives as the Director of Strategic Sales. She was promoted to Senior VP/Sales in 1996.

Kramer began her Entercom career as a Regional VP in 2000. Prior to joining Entercom, she enjoyed a long career with CBS Radio, serving in a number of roles, including VP/GM at WMAQ-AM and WJMK-FM/Chicago. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).
