Emmis/Austin ups Chris Edge to the newly-created position of Digital Media Account Manager, effective May 1. He assumes the new duties after a year as Program Director of Rock KLBJ-FM and AAA KGSR-FM. Edge joined the Austin group in March, 2007 from similar duties then co-owned CHR WNOU-FM (Radio Now)/Indianapolis. He's also programmed WDCG-FM (G105)/Raleigh.
"Edge is a one-in-a-million programmer and has done an amazing job with these brands, said OM Chase. "I hate losing him in the programming world, but if anybody can tackle the interactive world, Edge is that guy. He 'gets it' like no one else."
"Chris is the perfect person to lead our interactive sales initiative," added Emmis/Austin GM Bruce Walden. "He's creative, a great problem solver and is very passionate about creating great client solutions and exceeding our revenue goals with interactive and new media."
