Fisher Promotes Rob Dunlop to Senior VP/Operations

Fisher Communications promotes Robert I. Dunlop to Senior VP/Operations, overseeing the company's 28 broadcast properties. He will continue to head Fisher's digital and technology initiatives. Dunlop joined Fisher in 1991 as OM/PD for its Seattle radio outlets. In 1995, he became VP/Station Manager, and in 1999 was upped to VP/GM before rising to Senior VP.

"Rob is a proven broadcast media executive with a comprehensive understanding of our industry," said Fisher President/CEO Colleen Brown. "His deep background in news, sales, research, technology and new media will serve us well as we continue to transform Fisher's operations and its business model."

"Our efforts are strategically focused on growing ratings, driving sales creatively and rapidly, improving operational effectiveness and continuing to develop our digital businesses," added Brown. "Tapping into Rob's experience and talent to work more closely with the stations will further accelerate our delivery of peer-leading growth."
