Jeffries Appointed PD of KBIG (104.3 MYfm)/Los Angeles

Clear Channel/Los Angeles appoints Andrew Jeffries as Program Director of Hot AC KBIG-FM (104.3 MYfm), effective February 9. He replaces PD Dave "Chachi" Denes and currently serves as PD for co-owned KIOI-FM (Star 101.3)/San Francisco. Before joining KIOI last April, Jeffries spent nine years in London with the Capital Radio Group as PD of Kiss 100.
President/Market Manager Greg Ashlock said, "Andrew has enjoyed great success in this arena. His passion-bucket for radio is full and his perspectives and ideas are very refreshing. His skill-set will not only benefit MYfm, but all of our AC's in the market."
Andrew added, "L.A. is the undisputed entertainment capital of the world. Everyone looks at it as the home of Disney, NBC, Universal and the cream of international entertainment. Having the opportunity to encompass that L.A. vibe across MYfm is quite amazing."
