WZBA (The Bay)/Baltimore Taps Harvey Kojan as PD
RADIO ONLINE | , , |
Classic Rock WZBA-FM (The Bay)/Baltimore names Harvey Kojan as its new Program Director, effective April 27. He succeeds interim programmer Cruze. Kojan spent the last 16 years at Rock WNOR-FM/Norfolk-Virginia Beach before he was ousted in January in a downsizing move.
"After an exhaustive and very thorough search, I'm very pleased to announce that we finally got our man!," said Shamrock COO Jeff Laird. "Harvey brings a ton of energy and a quirky sense of humor. In addition to his programming skills he's an accomplished writer and producer, and also has expertise in website design, content generation, and database growth and maintenance."
Kojan added, "My reputation precedes me, but Jeff ignored it and hired me anyway! "Seriously, I'm a darn lucky guy. We all know how scarce jobs are right now, and to be able to join a company like Shamrock in a city like Baltimore is just an amazing opportunity."
