Salvatore Named GM/EP of Compass Media Sports

Compass Media Networks hires Michelle Salvatore as General Manager & Executive Producer of the company's newly created sports division, effective April 27. Most recently, she served as executive producer for syndicated Billy Bush. She prevoiously handled production for The New York Giants Radio Networks, as well as The New York Mets Radio Network.

"Michelle is a rising star in our industry," said company founder Peter Kosann. "She is respected within the sports radio business and a phenomenal addition to our growing company."

"It is an honor to join Compass Media Networks," added Salvatore. "I look forward to working with my new colleagues, our sports programming partners, our affiliates, and our advertisers."

In addition to programming, Salvatore has extensive contacts with radio operators having run Sports Affiliate Sales for Westwood One from 2006-08.
