Spacial Teams w/Borrell for Internet Survey System

Spacial Audio launches an affiliation with research firm Borrell Associates to present a continuing survey of Internet radio listeners. Each survey will be branded to the serving station and each station receives a continuous breakout of data. Participates will also receive a spreadsheet outlining response to each survey.

"This is an important step in accounting for 'who' is listening to radio online, today," says Spacial CEO Bryan Payne. "This survey is a continuation of the surveys started by Spacial Audio's SVP of Marketing, Ken Dardis, in October 2001. With Borrell's assistance, it will be more concise and extremely valuable in its ability to mine consumer opinion."

Borrell Associates CEO Gordon Borrell added, "The Internet radio market is perfect for gathering answers. A person already has their finger on the keyboard and mouse. Response is immediate." Online station owners and managers may become part of the survey serving roster through a simple e-mail.

The most recent survey founded that 42.8% of males and 41.9% of females have seen an advertisement on the web for a local business that has prompted them to buy something from that business. 15.4% of males and 16.5% of females have used a coupon they've retrieved from a web site in the past 12 months. Plus, 46% of males and 50.2% of females have "used the Internet and nothing else" to look up a phone number, address or other information about a local business in the last year.
