Clear Channel to Launch ''Freedom 570'' in Salt Lake
Clear Channel will flip KNRS-AM (570)/Salt Lake City to "Freedom 570" on September 17. Concurrently, KNRS's previous News/Talk format moves to AAA KXRV-FM (105.7). Freedom 570 will be dedicated to providing news and opinions that matter to Utah, an outlet for Utah residents to discuss the day's issues from a conservative point of view, hear the latest money and economic news, and get advice on family finances.
Freedom 570 will feature syndicated talk hosts, including Utah favorite Clark Howard (beginning November 4), and Neal Boortz, Todd Schnitt, Jason Lewis and Bill Handel. In the morning, Freedom 570 will focus on the economy with "The Wall Street Journal This Morning."
Freedom 570 will also be heard on 99.1 FM in Utah County and Southern Salt Lake County, and on 99.5 HD2.
