Salem News/Talker WNYM-AM (970 The Apple)/New York will be the home of Syracuse Football and Basketball for the next 2 years. The Apple will carry all of the football games and The Big East basketball schedule.

"Syracuse and AM 970 The Apple are a perfect fit featuring the powerhouse basketball and football program of the Syracuse Orange and AM 970's 50,000 watts of power," said Salem Media GM Sean O'Neill.

"College Sports is the perfect complement to our programming," added PD Peter Thiele. "Syracuse is the university in New York for Sports."
