Beasley Announces 2009 Operating Awards Winners
Beasley Broadcast Group announced the winners of its annual Company Operating Awards on Tuesday, honoring noteworthy achievements, operating success and contributions from individual Beasley employees and stations over the past year. Beasley revealed the 2009 honorees at its annual gathering of General Managers. Winners include: Kent Dunn -- General Manager of the Year Leo Baldwin -- Program Director of the Year John Jaras -- Sales Manager of the Year Robin Wood -- Business Manager of the Year George Corso -- Engineer of the Year Wired 96.5 WRDW-FM -- Radio Station of the Year "This year, it gives me great pleasure to recognize five individuals who have achieved success in four different markets," commented Chairman/CEO George G. Beasley. "From Philadelphia to Fayetteville to Augusta to Miami, these managers have excelled and distinguished themselves in diverse markets that face unique challenges in these very difficult times. I would like to express my gratitude and congratulations to these exceptional individuals and the outstanding stations they represent." (09-01-09)
