Emmis Radio, Nobex Partner for BlackBerry App
Emmis inks a co-branding and distribution agreement with Nobex Technologies for its Nobex Radio Companion application. The app allows BlackBerry smartphone users to listen to Emmis Radio's stations, along with 3000 other stations from around the world. Under the deal customers can select a version of Nobex Radio Companion that comes pre-set with their favorite Emmis station.
Only one Nobex Radio Companion application needs to be installed on a BlackBerry smartphone and the user can add any additional Emmis station to the Nobex playlist. The app also provides customers with a way to get songs or ringtones with a single click, along with lyrics of songs, song and artist information and to receive e-mail with links to buy the song from their PCs.
