NRG Media/Omaha Ups Heather Gossett to FM GSM

NRG Media/Omaha promotes account exec Heather Gossett to General Sales Manager of its three FM music stations there, effective November 1. The 14-year sales vet will assume sales management responsibilities for KQKQ-FM, KOOO-FM and KOPW-FM, reporting to cluster General Manager Rhonda Gerrard.

Gerrard says that Gossett was an obvious choice for the promotion, "Heather has a tremendous track record of success within our own operation. Her dedication, commitment to the stations, and longevity in the Omaha market combined with her connection to our advertisers and general passion for the industry make her the perfect General Sales Manager to lead our FM stations."

FM Operations Manager/PD for Q98.5 and The Big O 101.9, Nevin Dane, added, "Heather's promotion is great news for our FM stations and for the NRG Media Omaha cluster. I have worked with Heather for many years and she is more than capable of leading the sales direction for our stations and to integrating sales efforts seamlessly with programming directives. She'll do a tremendous job."

Gossett launched her radio career in Fremont in 1995 and joined Mitchell Broadcasting in Omaha in 1997. (10-26-09)
