Reba Mcentire to Host PRN's CMA Awards Preview

Premiere Radio will present its 2009 CMA Awards Preview Special hosted by Reba McEntire, beginning Friday, November 6. The four-hour radio special, which airs in advance of the "43rd Annual CMA Awards," will feature music and interviews with reigning "Male Vocalist of the Year" Brad Paisley, reigning "Entertainer of the Year" Kenny Chesney and reigning "Vocal Group of the Year" Rascal Flatts, among a host of others.

McEntire, who is nominated in both the CMA "Female Vocalist" and "Musical Event of the Year" (with Brooks & Dunn for "Cowgirls Don't Cry") will also perform on the Awards telecast.

In addition, Premiere Radio will present a live broadcast of the Awards telecast, red carpet interviews with the stars, as well as a live post-Awards broadcast with the winners, which will be hosted by BNA recording artist Craig Morgan and Premiere's Larry Morgan. This will be Morgan's debut as co-host of the 43rd Annual CMA Awards Post Show.

In conjunction with "The 43rd Annual CMA Awards," Premiere Radio will host 50 of the Country's top radio stations as they broadcast their morning or afternoon shows live from Nashville. The CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air live on Wednesday, November 11 on ABC. (10-28-09)
