WGBT/Greensboro to Launch ''Rush Radio 94-5''
Clear Channel/Greensboro will flip Regional Mexican WGBT-FM (La Preciosa) to "Rush Radio 94-5" on on January 1. The News/Talk format will feature the move of "The Rush Limbaugh Show," heard 12-3pm, to a full-market FM signal for what CC says is the "first time ever." The new line-up will also include syndicated talker Glenn Beck (9-12pm) weekdays.
VP/Market Manager Kim Pyle said, "We are excited to bring Beck, Rush and Rush Radio to the entire Triad market."
CC/Greensboro Director of Operations Tim Satterfield added, "These are the biggest personalities in Talkradio and we wanted to give them the platform they deserve."
Fans of the La Preciosa Network will be able to hear Hispanic music online and on its HD2 multicast channel. (11-02-09)
