A Los Angeles judge has granted a "stay-away" order to KIIS-FM/Los Angeles morning host Ryan Seacrest against a man arrested on suspicion of stalking him. Seacrest's lawyers received the order only hours after a man was detained Friday (10-30) at the E! Entertainment TV headquarters in Los Angeles. The man was allegedly carrying a knife and was trying to see Seacrest.

The alleged stalker, Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., who is now in police custody, was already on probation for another incident involving Seacrest, as he pleaded guilty in Orange County last month to three misdemeanors, including carrying a switchblade knife, assault and battery. He was arrested after attacking one of Seacrest's bodyguards.

Uzomah has a court hearing scheduled for November 17. (11-02-09)
