Amir Forester, an 11-year veteran of corporate communications in the radio industry, has launched Los Angeles-based Forester Public Relations, a full-service firm for media talent and companies. She previously spent over a decade at Premiere Radio Networks developing the public relations and corporate communications department as media spokesperson for several syndicated personalities.

Among the clients in her new venture are syndicated talk host Phil Hendrie, morning personality Elvis Duran and newly launched talent management and media innovations company Gabe Hobbs Media. Forester is also a consultant for Sitrick and Company, a national crisis communications firm.

Gabe Hobbs says, "I get more comments on the amount of publicity I've received than I do about the fact I've launched a new business. My response is always, 'I have a great PR strategist.' And I certainly do!"

Forester states, "It's not just about getting your name in the press -- often it's about keeping it out when the visibility will not advance the long-range goals of the client. Either way, the one consistent factor is being clear about what you want to say and seizing the right opportunities to tell your story."

Prior to her career at Premiere, Forester was an Account Executive in the Los Angeles office of Hill & Knowlton, a public relations firm. (11-02-09)
