Beck Leaves Wednesday's Show with Appendicitis

Premiere Radio's Glenn Beck, 45, suffered an appendicitis attack, live, during his radio show on Wednesday. He was hospitalized and underwent emergency surgery, a Fox News Channel spokeswoman said.

Beck also missed his early-evening Fox News Channel show. "He's expected to make a full and complete recovery," said Andrew P. Napolitano, who filled in for Beck on his TV show.

Beck will likely be sidelined for the rest of the week. (11-04-09)
