Capitol Records/Nashville West Coast Rep Mike Krinik will make a return to radio as Program Director of Entercom's KBWF-FM (95.7 The Wolf)/San Francisco. He previously programmed WGGY-FM/Wilkes Barre, PA, before taking the Capitol slot some 5 years ago. Krinik replaces Scott Mahalick, who is now PD of Alpha Broadcasting's KUPL-FM/Portland, OR.
"Mike brings an amazing portfolio of experience to the job, having successfully programmed stations and promoted fresh country superstars to #1," said Entercom/San Francisco VP/GM Dwight Walker. "His knowledge of country music artists, lifestyle and listeners will be instrumental in moving The Wolf to the next level."
"Not the thickest San Francisco fog, nor a night on the 'Rock' could keep me from taking this amazing opportunity," said Krinik. "This is what I always envisioned -- a 'dream radio job' -- and it's a great thrill to be reunited with Senior VP/Programming Pat Paxton, VP/Country Music Mike Moore and my old Entercom friends to begin a new journey with the San Francisco Wolf staff!"
