KDAY/Los Angeles Sets New Management Structure

Magic Broadcasting's Rhythmic AC KDAY-FM/Los Angeles taps Zeke Chaidez as its new General Manager. Previously, Chaidez was COO of Heftel Media, which ultimately merged with Tichenor Media in 1997 to become Hispanic Broadcasting before merging with Univision. Chaidez has also served as VP/GM of Radiovisa's KPLS-AM/Los Angeles and GSM of KSCA-FM/Los Angeles.

"I am excited to be involved in a format that is as fun and as relevant to this city," Chaidez said. "I was born and raised in Los Angeles and am very familiar with the KDAY heritage and am looking forward to the re-birth of KDAY. The station is off to a great start and will be even more incredible once the team puts their signature to each of their departments."

Since his arrival at KDAY, Chaidez has named Derek Beesemyer as GSM from ABC Radio/Los Angeles and Brian Bridgman as OM. Most recently, Jason Wagers joined as Marketing Director and Sascha Schleumer as Director/Information Technology.
