Entercom Names Van Hook Director of Digital Ops
20-year radio vet Amy Van Hook returns to Entercom as Director of Digital Operations, effective December 9. She was previously with the company in a similar role, and returns to lead the firm's digital design and development team. Van Hook previously served as COO at Liquid Compass where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company.
VP/Technical Operations Ken Beck commented, "Amy is an old friend to most of us here at Entercom and helped launch our digital efforts several years ago, so it's a homecoming for all of us. I'm looking forward to working closely with her and our development team to accelerate our digital efforts."
Van Hook added, "My passion lies in radio and I'm thrilled to return to my roots. It's especially great to be joining a broadcaster that I know so well. My previous years at Entercom coupled with the past several years as COO at Liquid Compass have uniquely prepared me for this opportunity. Entercom has great forward movement in the digital arena and I look forward to helping continue that advancement."
Previously Van Hook spent more than seven years at Entercom where she served as the Director of Digital Operations. Prior to that, she was Director of Marketing Services. Van Hook also served as Group Director of Interactive Marketing for Susquehanna Radio. (11-16-09)
