Bustos Media Oregon flips KOOR-AM/Portland, OR, to "W Radio 1010," the market's first Spanish News/Talk outlet. The syndicated format, distributed by Grupo Latino de Radio, keeps listeners up to date on local and national news, as well as news from Mexico, lifestyle features, health, sports and entertainment.
"With the continued growth and diversity of Oregon's Latino population, the time has come for a Spanish News/Talk radio station and Bustos Media will continue to offer a variety of formats to meet the needs of the Latino audience," said Regional VP Ricky Tatum.
In addition to W Radio, Bustos Media Oregon owns Regional Mexican KGDD-AM (La Gran D 1520), Christian Contemporary KLPM-AM (La Paloma 1150) and Spanish Classic Hits KRYN-AM (La Reyna 1230). Bustos Media also has a joint venture with Entercom carrying ESPN Deportes.
