KMXP (Mix 96.9)/Phoenix Offers Bristol Palin a Job
RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, January 5, 2011 |
Clear Channel's KMXP-FM (Mix 96.9 )/Phoenix has officially extended an on-air job offer to Arizona's newest high-profile home owner, Bristol Palin. She's known for her surprising finish on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and daughter to former VP candidate Sara Palin. PD Ron Price has made it clear that this is not a political job for Bristol, nor is it a radio stunt. Palin is being offered a position with morning host Mathew Blades
"It is an official offer to a very well known personality, who may be looking for a new career in what will most likely be her new home state," commented Price.
Blades added his comments on the offer, "I think that Bristol's outlook on life is probably different from mine, and that contrast could be interesting to listen to."
"We think Ms. Palin's unique life experiences, coupled with being a newcomer to the Valley, provide a perspective that will resonate with our listeners. We hope she agrees!" adds President/Market Manager Jeff England.
