Joe Bilotta Joins Broadcasters Foundation Board Joe Bilotta, President/CEO of Buckley Broadcasting, was named a member of the Broadcasters Foundation of America board of directors during the meeting held earlier this week in New York. In a career that has spanned over 40 years, Bilotta has served with Buckley Broadcasting in a variety of capacities. He joined the broadcaster at CHR WIBG/Philadelphia, rising through the ranks to become its COO in 2001.
"I am proud to welcome Joe to our board," said Broadcasters Foundation Chairman Phil Lombardo "Joe is admired by his colleagues and known for his generosity in giving back to the broadcast community. His contribution to our cause of helping broadcasters in need will be a tremendous asset."
"It is truly an honor to serve on the Broadcasters Foundation board of directors and give back to this great industry," Bilotta stated. "Whether it's an emergency grant for a broadcaster whose home was devastated while they stayed on the air during a disaster, or one who experienced a tragic and unforeseen debilitating accident, the Broadcasters Foundation is there to provide aid when there is nowhere else to turn."
Bilotta is also a former chair of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and currently serves on its Executive Committee. He chaired the RAB Marketing Leadership Conference in 1998 and the NAB Radio Show in Philadelphia in 2003. He is a board member of the New Jersey Broadcasters Association and served a six-year term on the National Association of Broadcasters Board of Directors.
