Carla Rea Joins KKLZ/Las Vegas Mornings


Beasley/Las Vegas welcomes Carla Rea, an accomplished comedian and seasoned Radio and TV personality, as co-host of its popular KKLZ Morning Show. Carla's first day in the KKLZ studios is Monday, March 12th, where she'll Join Mike O'Brian and Jim Tofte from 5:00 a.m. -- 9:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. She reports to Program Director, Justin Chase.

Carla enjoys over 20 years of Comedy Club, Radio and TV experience. She's been seen on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Evening at the Improv, Showtime and Comedy Central. In her words, she's worked "Comedy Clubs throughout the U.S. including The Improv, Catch a Rising Star, The Comedy Store, and every comedy club, bowling alley, and pizza joint in between." Carla's corporate events include such companies as Shell Oil, Pfizer, and Merck, just to name a few. She recently released a DVD "Finding the Funny," and is currently working on her second DVD. ""I'm extremely happy ," says Carla, "to be joining my former on-air partner, Mike O'Brian, and Jim Tofte, on the 96.3 KKLZ morning... we're going to have some FUN, you'll want to join us!"
