Folger Media Launches Third Country Station

As the calendar turned over to Cinco De Mayo in Texas, Folger Media used the opportunity to roll out its latest New Country outlet "995 Blake FM" in Lubbock, TX. The launch of Blake FM on KQBR-FM Lubbock, comes just a few months after a successful launch of the format up the interstate in Amarillo.
Folger Media President Joel Folger said, "Blake FM is a winning brand and we're thrilled to have another station on board." Joining Folger in consulting Blake FM is Country music programming vet Kevin Christopher, who programs Jake FM in Oklahoma City. (05-04-12)
